We are a premium analytical
boutique that offers
financial advisory services
We build on years
of experience in valuation and transaction advisory
Many years of experience and detailed knowledge in the areas of valuation and transaction advisory enable us to offer superior services in other related areas.
We enrich our experience with our own research and insights into global best practice gained through our involvement in global organisations and scientific research projects.
We are a reliable partner in challenging and non-standard projects. We are mainly engaged in projects in the following areas:
Our values and
our vision
We focus on details that can often highlight hidden problematic points and change the way clients, courts and tribunals view the issues.
We distil complex issues into easily understandable information and data so that our partners and clients are able to make the best decisions possible based on facts and their impartial interpretation.
We are used to thinking in a broader context. Throughout our analysis, we are open to any and all ideas. We search for the best solutions, no matter who they come from.
We never compromise on quality. We value integrity, ethics, responsibility, and objectivity.
Analytical Boutique
Litigation, Arbitration and Competition Economics
We provide comprehensive strategic and analytical support on economic issues. We build on our practical experience from a variety of disputes before Czech courts or arbitration tribunals.
We also prepare expert reports on specific topics within a given dispute. We employ the global best practice.
In the area of competition economics, a clear analysis of the relevant market or market share quantification can help.
Insolvency
We provide economic and financial support to insolvency administrators, debtors and creditors regarding assets and liabilities valuation. We help to understand challenging economic aspects of insolvency proceedings.
During preparation of valuation reports for creditors' committees, insolvency practitioners or distressed companies’ management, we draw on our courtroom and investigation experience.
Restructuring
We provide detailed financial advisory support during planning and implementation of restructuring process. We help to identify problematic aspects of the business.
As part of the restructuring process, we may prepare a financial model to help you gain a complete picture of debt refinancing, liquidity or other financial decisions.
M&A
When negotiating a purchase price, an independent valuation of the company or other assets involved in the transaction is useful. The valuation will take into account the findings of due diligence, provide a better understanding of the value of the company and provide arguments for negotiation with the counterparty.
We may prepare a financial model to assist in internal decision making or discussions regarding raising financing.
If required by company authorities or legislation, we will prepare a fairness opinion.
Financial modelling
We prepare specific financial models for financing, or pricing purposes, bid evaluation and other purposes. We also perform model review and model audit for third parties.
We can advise on how to adjust or streamline an existing model.
Specific analyses
We have worked on most of the largest squeeze-outs and takeover bids in the Czech Republic.
We also have experience with the largest financial assistance that have been done in the Czech Republic.
It may be appropriate to perform a solvency test before paying high dividends.
We specialize on economic support in any non-standard financial situations requiring in-depth analysis and detailed understanding.
Applied Research
Research providing practical answers
We use financial analyses, statistical models, the latest economic theories, artificial intelligence and other tools to provide practical solutions to any given problem. Wherever our expertise ends, we work with the world's leading experts in the field.
We focuse on applied research that provides practical answers. We are currently working on the following projects:
What are the required returns for different types of investments?
What is the impact of higher levels of inflation on the cost of capital and the economic outlook of companies?
Different approaches, assumptions and requirements in valuation and transfer pricing analyses
